i noticed one of the main complaints of gen 2 overall is that freddie is brutally boring, and i think one of his things his character needed (alike to gen 2 as a whole tbh) was more fluff. SOOO i wrote a one shot of a freddie unseen short !

i loved the unseens and while freddie's canon one is funny i think they needed to contextualize his relationship with katie more so this one shot is about them. i also think he needed to be more active and less reactive during his screentime. anyway this would take place between naomi and jj's episode in series 3.

i know a good amount of people dislike this book but it's getting me so bothered i need to speak about this.

I'm halfway through right now and i'm bewildered at how Effy is mischaracterized in this piece. Besides the odd Aldo situation that i think is already out of character, why is she so judgy and mocking towards Katie about her being sexually active. Effy is the Lebron of sleeping around in the Skinsverse, hell she literally slept with Katie's boyfriend. Also, based on everything that happened in series 3 after Effy's episode, Effy is well aware she's the one that fucked up more in forest hangout situation, so why would she be scum towards Katie during summer when she sees Katie is taking the piss...

Also very thrown off about the author's clear one-sided beef with Katie. Katie is getting called a fat annoying cow every two pages which is so out of it since she's a button and she knows it. Katie's described as if she's trashy and a desperate whore, but at worst in the show she was tacky and attention seeking. I'm just lost.. It's like the author is scared of nuance idk.

Don't get me wrong i do not hate this book and I'm entertained by the stuff with the three musketeers and Panda but i cannot recognize some of these characters </3
