I helped build this new haptic focus fidget with programmed magnets.
Hey, I'm part of NXT Carry. We made this focus fidget, the NXT Shift.
It uses something we call Sepratech. We encode a pattern of poles into the magnets, so instead of a plain pull, you feel structure as you interact with the magnet.
A few versions exist. An invisible maze where you feel the walls. Symbols you can trace over and over. Topographic patterns that click as you pass across them and give haptic feedback.
Built higher-end. Titanium, copper, and stainless steel.
