New to NCL but not a new cruiser. Royal does a really good job on getting folks off the boat.

I’ve seen such mixed reviews on how long it takes to disembark with NCL. I’ve seen it can be smooth but also that it can take 2 hours.

Looking at 1130 flight out of Miami.

2 adults. Self carry. NCL Joy. TSA pre Check (but we find Miami doesn’t always have a traditional line for that).

Any concerns? I know the official recommendation is noon but this is very close.

We have a 4 year old yellow lab who suffers constantly with allergies. They typically present as ear infections and discomfort but also itchy skin and sometimes breakouts from scratching.

We are at a total loss on what else we can do to get him some relief.

Things we’ve tried:

Limiting water activity (🥺)
Routine ear cleaning
Allergy testing (food mites and common outdoor allergies)
Freezing food to control food mites
Changed food to try various food proteins
Daily apoquel
Several rounds of custom made of those liquid oral allergy meds (like shots in humans)
Several vet visits for professional ear cleaning and targeted treatment based on ear culture diagnosis

What else can we do? He is miserable and it’s costing us a fortune without really much relief.

We are usually royal cruisers as family with kids, but are considering switching it up to MSC or NCL for an adults only short get away.

What are the main differences and anything we need to know in advance?

Any tie breakers between NCL and MSC? Mostly the same per person per night cost and itineraries.

We are pretty low key, care most about cleanliness, not feeling too crowded, and food.
