I bought a pair of AirPods Pro 3 online and noticed upon connecting to them that they have AppleCare+ until November 2028.

I didn’t get these for cheap, and bought them from what I assume to be a reputable seller.

They’ve passed some authenticity checks I’ve done including:
- serial numbers all match
- they appear on Apple’s “check coverage” webpage, which also indicates they were purchased August 18 2026 (yesterday, which is when the parcel arrived).
- FindMy and heart rate monitoring work as expected.

Did I just get very lucky? Or should I take them to an Apple Store to authenticate properly?

And if they’re legit, how is it possible that they have AppleCare+ out of the box if I never paid for it?

Twice now I have developed very painful ulcers near my wisdom tooth (once in January, and now again this week). Both times I’ve also felt very washed out and had a sore throat.

I decided to get some blood work done. Elevated C Reactive Protein and low iron transferrin (but normal stored iron) indicate inflammation in the body.

My dentist’s theory is that the wisdom tooth is causing the trauma in the area when I sleep. But to me this leaves some questions.

Like, if my wisdom tooth is rubbing against my mouth, why has it caused trauma only twice in four months? And why have I gotten a sore throat and felt washed each time?

For context, I also got chronic tonsillitis as a child (> 5 times per year). Until I got them taken out… So it’s like my lymphatic system in this area is hyper-reactive or something.

Anyone had similar experiences? Any thoughts on what to do?
