A building in Amsterdam shaped like a shoe.

Originally owned by a bank. Famously known as “de schoen” (the shoe in dutch) and “poenschoen” (money shoe in dutch). Its also next to one of the busiest highways in the Netherlands.

Edit: yes i agree it looks more like a bullet train rather than a shoe. However, its known to the locals as the shoe building. I have read that they made it this shape to fit into the surroundings and to fit the initial ecological requirements of the bank who originally owned it.

Macallan tour or Balvenie tour? (And things to do with kids nearby)

I am planning a trip to Speyside after the summer and need some advice. I want to book a distillery tour, but I can't choose between these two:

The Macallan Time for Excellence tour and The Balvenie Classic Tour

I usually prefer to drink Macallan. But I heard that Balvenie has a really good tour. A lot of people a raving about their tour. If you have done both recently, which one do you think is better? Is Macallan still worth it if i like their whisky more?

Which tour should I choose? Also, since children are not allowed to join these tour, does anyone have tips for some child friendly things to do nearby where my wife can take the kids while I am on the tour?

Thanks for the help!
