Our 1 year old poodle mix had a keyhole spay on Thursday. She was okay for the first day - was obviously bothered but ate her food and wanted to play even though we were trying to limit her movement. It has been getting harder to get her to take food so she has been having less each day, and today she is completely refusing. (Yesterday she had hand fed bits of chicken but keeps turning away today).

It's very strange. We have been taking her for very gentle walks and she is almost normal on these. But in the house she will not move from her bed or come out from under the sofa. If we move her she will do a scared run back to a place of cover.

Her small wounds are nearly healed. We took her back to the vets on Saturday and they said she was fine but gave us extra painkillers (she is now on pardale and metaçam). They are not open today (bank holiday) and a drive to the emergency hospital would be very stressful, and will likely not be helpful as she is behaving normally outside the house.

Please help, we don't know what's going on and are very worried.
