Sex and Parkinson's

Hi folks, I'm coming to this lovely community to pick your brains (phrase feels a bit inappropriate in this context). I'm looking to start a vlog/ podcast about sex when living with Parkinson's and... Well that's it.

When I was diagnosed my sudden sense of mortality helped me understand it was pointless denying my bisexuallity. Discussing this with my PD nurse she arrived at the realisation that sex and intimacy should be something they discussed with patients! I was home before I realised that meant they weren't!

Are there any questions about sex and PD that you have?

Are there topics you'd like to know more about?

Is there anything you would not like to see in such a podcast or vlog?

I would also be interested in any relevant experiences you might have had. THIS IS ONLY TO READ HERE. Parkinson's is so different for all of us I would appreciate some insight into other people's experience.

We're not shonky fleshbags full of symptoms that need to be managed. We're real life people with needs and dreams and fantasies.

So I have been lurking here, but never thought to show you all this beauty!

This came with our house that we bought almost 2 years ago. I'm sure a lot of you know, but I didn't - it's a grillkota in almost Finnish, or grill hut. Popular in Scandinavia to help enjoy the outdoors all year. We had a grill master friend who cooked some wonderful food on it and we've just got the confidence to try ourselves. We've just done some salmon foil parcels and some greek marinaded chicken.

It's a little overwhelming for a noob to cook on as it seems to have so much potential. The attachments are great, a grill and two pot warmers I guess, but they are very heavy and it's quite the ordeal to bring the massive grill closer to the flames when everything is hot. Oh and we couldn't find any pins, when we moved here, so we use skewers.

The open fire is great, and I have a feeling that the hood and chimney could be raised if there's enough of you. However, I am little out of my depth. What would be the best ways to cook on it? What fuel? I've used wood and restaurant grade charcoal, and I've a metal bench sorta thing that we put the foil parcels on to cook. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome!
