I added two Indian almond leaves a few days ago that are almost as big as my hand. So far I haven’t seen any change in the water colour so I was just wondering if that is normal and how long does it take for water to turn brown? (My tank is 10 gallons)
I have been thinking about tannins for a while because I have a honey gourami and chilli rasboras which are both black water fish but to be honest, I have never used tannins before and I was wondering if I should add them and if so, how?
It’s pretty difficult to get a good photo as this fish is extremely active but I was wondering if anyone could tell the gender of this fish. Based on what I have seen, I’m pretty sure this is a female but I wanted to ask for more opinions! This fish is a juvenile so it could me more difficult to tell.
