Guides for installing a vevor diesel heater vented through the wall

Ive bought a vevor 2kw diesel heater, and id like to vent the exhaust through the wall of my van instead of the floor if possible. Im struggling to find any good guides on how to do that though on google and youtube. If you have recommendations i would appriciate the help!

To vapor barrier, or not to vapor barrier?

(Pic just to show my current WIP)

Im working on my van build and im seeing a lot of mixed opinions on vapor barriers.

For context: i am working on a sprinter van to live in full time. I will be living in southern Canada (Ontario) so I will be dealing with freezing temperatures.

I have seen people install vapor barriers in their vans for cold climates, but i have also heard that it can be a bad idea and trap moisture if done incorrectly. I also have seen a few different types, like the plastic sheet ones and the foil ones. Im having a bit of trouble figuiring out what is the best option for me.

I have also heard that as long as you have ventilation that the vapor barriers are basically pointless.

The floors insulation had a vapor barrier on it already so we used reflective tape to seal all the edges, but i also realize there would be a tiny air gap between the walls and the floor even if i seal walls.

If you have an experience with these in cold climates i would really like to hear what your toughts are. Thanks for reading.

Any Market for Used Headliners?

I am doing a custom build in my 2015 Mercedes Sprinter van and i had to remove all the headliners, i feel bad throwing them away as they are in good condition so im just wondering if there is a good way to find someone who could use them? Im going to try facebook market place but i dont want to have to hang on to them for an indefinite period of time, maybe a salvage yard or something would work better?

My new van! :D

My partner and I just bought this Mercedes Sprinter from some nice folks that my boss put me in touch with. They gave us an insane deal. Its only got 80k miles and its in near perfrct condition. I feel so grateful to them ❤️ and i just wanted to share my excitement! This is our first time living full time in a vehicle, so its going to be interesting for sure lol. Im prepared for the challenge though and im ready for the change. Wish me luck!

Looking for best low budget van options

Hello, im looking into purchasing a van to live in for about 6 months to a year until I can purchase a home. My budget for the van itself is 6k max, not including renovations, but id like to keep it lower if possible. My friend is selling a 2006 chevy express passenger van for 3k, and it looks like a nice option, but ive noticed the ford ecoline cargo vans seem to maybe have a bit more interior space. Im just curious to hear if there are any other models i should be looking at! And what people think is the most comfortable to live in for that price range. Thanks for the help :)
