Just picked up a 55" ST60 for $50 ( nice deal ). Testing out the 96hz mode and notice flicker while in 60hz mode I do not. My S60 doesn't have the 96hz mode so I thought it wouldn't have flicker at 96hz as its higher than 60 but that doesn't seem to be the case. This is normal I assume?

To get 96hz mode to work in windows I set the resolution of the Tv as 1920x1080 - 23.98hz for movies and shows. Its probably from setting windows to this res but can't get 96hz mode on otherwise. Tv doesn't seem to accept 48hz or 96hz

Update: I found pixel direct to irritate my eyes so turned that off. Seems to look best 23.98hz windows + 24p in 60hz as there is no flicker.
