Hey, I DJ electronic music on college radio, I’m very new to it. I don’t know a lot about copyright stuff but when I asked the station manager he said that wé are covered with the BMI/ASCAP stuff and to not worry. That being said, I would like to play music from rather small artists around the world and support them, and I’m not sure if they would be covered under that. How could I check, and if they aren’t checked, is there still a way to play their music on air?

I do purchase any music I play before airing (either on Beatport or Bandcamp) it as I like to have it for personal enjoyment too.

Whenever I walk by it I see some discount advertised outside and nobody inside but maybe I’m there at the wrong times. As a female UCSC student I and a lot of my friends wouldn’t ever wear most of the clothes in there. I don’t care about Anthro as a business but they took a really nice spot downtown (RIP newleaf) and I would be sad to see it empty. I was pretty disappointed when I heard it would be anthro and not something useful to daily living like Newleaf was.

A seller sent me the wrong item and ignored my message relating to this for weeks, so I decided to leave a negative review. Over a month after I left that review, they've offered to refund the item if I take down my review, but they've also left me negative buyer feedback at the same time.

I am new to Discogs, so this made my previously perfect buyer rating extremely low. Should I just accept the refund offer? I admit that this feels wrong, but I still want to be able to make purchases.

The title. I know RW is very versatile in how it can be played but I’m enamoured with the fiction that surrounds it. There’s the typical space colonization stuff of course but you also have human worlds at various technological levels, various cultures/subspecies of humans, all sorts of questionable ethics, even the vaguely “western“ vibe... I think anybody who has played the game will understand the appeal.

Anything is fine, even if it’s more “informational” as long as it’s not heavily romance/sex. Not a squeamish person, I’m asexual so there isn’t much appeal in reading that.

I like to stalk the newly purchased feed and saw something really unusual. This $1.50 track gets purchased several times a minute, often for much higher than asking price, was released almost a week ago, and is AI-generated according to the "creator" themself (Boy George). I haven't been using Bandcamp for too long but I've never seen anything like that, feels strange. I don't see it talked about much online too.

Usually it's something my parents handle for me, but I forgot to unpurchase it so currently my health insurance is the one with the school. I might have an medical issue where I need an X-ray soon and am not sure how to check how helpful the school health insurance will be. Any advice appreciated.

I’ve loved dragons since I was a kid (currently in university). Would like to read a book in a world with DRAGONS. I don’t mean something like where the villain is a dragon or dragons are horse stand-ins. The dragons should be prevalent in the story and preferably be complex characters themselves. Western style dragons, eastern style dragons… I don’t care I love them all! I liked Eragon as a kid and my sister loves WoF but I would prefer to read something rather rich and long. My favorite fantasy author is Tad Williams if that helps.

Open to any genre as long as it isn’t primarily NSFW, but only because I’m asexual and that would be really boring for me.
