Should I switch to Agile!?

I am currently with British Gas (Direct Exclusive Fix) on a 12 month fix which ends on the 22nd August.

Current rates are Electric 21.88p KwH Standing charge 48.02p per day. Gas 5.49p KwH Standard Charge 27.17p KwH. I also get half price electric 11-4pm on a Sunday.

No EV in the household yet but I am strongly considering it. No solar or heat pump.

There is somebody working from home here Monday to Friday.

Currently spending £60-70 a month on electric and that is stable throughout the year. Overall spend across the year is around £105 per month including gas.

Dishwasher runs every day. Washing machine and dryer 2/3 times a week, shifting usage will not be an issue apart from cooking which will be 6-7pm every day. We don’t have a gas hob, it’s an electric oven, air fryer and electric induction hob. We do have a portable AC unit that uses around 900w and when the weather is hot, it’ll run overnight 11pm-6am and during the day when we are working.

My questions are what would the gas rates be on agile?

If I do buy an EV, would I be better off shifting to one of Octopus’s Intelligent tariffs instead of Agile?

Are Ocotpus flexible? If Agile isn’t working for us, can we shift off it easily?
