I’m using the official Apple USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter, but the second I plug the ADAPTER into my iPad, it says “Cannot Use Accessory - This accessory uses too much power.” The notification keeps popping up nonstop even before I connect the Pencil itself. The adapter triggers it alone even before I plug the Pencil itself.

I already tried restarting, turning Bluetooth on/off, charging the Pencil, reconnecting everything, etc. At this point I feel like the adapter’s the problem.

How do I fix it? Has this happened to anyone else?
