Just curious

The title speaks for itself, I don’t think it would really happen in the show honestly, but I know that sometimes abuser were formers victims, if you learned that valentino had been abused in his human life or before becoming an overlord, how would you react if it was the case? Would you like/hate him more as a character? How would you see all of his actions if it was the case? (Obviously we're not excusing any of his actions here) would that add more context to his behavior? I don’t think that’s a really realistic theory for the show, but I just want to know how it would impact the view on the character.
