Nickel potential trigger?

Could nickel be a possible trigger for PD? I think I am noticing a pattern of my PD flaring when I wear cheap earrings. I also get a lump and puss in my ears when I wear them too. I wonder if anyone else could experience this?

Color science Flex SPF

Hey everyone, has anyone tried the color-science flex SPF 50?

I am looking for a mineral SPF that does not aggravate perioral dermatitis!

Thanks in advance ☺️

Azelaic acid/finacea?

Did azelaic acid irritate or help your PD? I started using finacea every other day but I think it may be irritating it more than helping 😅

I’ve seen a lot of people recommend it but interested to hear!

Thanks in advance ☺️

Eyelash/ eyelash glue

I am trying to get to the route cause of my PD. I just had a thought- I have found that it flares massively at the weekends and I do a couple of things differently.

One of which is wear eyelashes and use glue (cheap). Could this be a possible cause?

My diet also gets a lot worse at the weekends due to my social life and I drink Prosecco too.

I am thinking it could either be the Prosecco or the lash glue. Has this been a trigger for anyone else?

Is it possible for finacea to cause spots/purging even though I’m not massively prone to spots?

I have been using finacea for about 4 weeks now and have noticed a great improvement in my redness from type 1 but I keep getting spots popping up. They are not painful, don’t have a head (more under the skin) and go away as quickly as they appear. I don’t seen to
have any irritation (redness, dryness, pain) unless the spots are?

Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it purging and how long should I expect it to last?

Wondering whether I should continue!

Thanks ☺️
