One of the worst things about GTA V is being in a gunfight and sniping someone directly in the face with a 50cal and they just get a little red spot on their face. RDR2s combat carried a lot more weight because of the gore and dismemberment. Shotguns and large caliber rifles actually did realistic damage to NPCs so if it gets “toned down” it would really pull me out of the immersion.
