Help settle a debate between friends

Someone I know lives on the 500 block of Laurens Street (the even number side). We're trying to figure out what neighborhood it is. Half the maps say it's Upton, which makes sense with the close proximity to the Upton metro station. The other half say it's Druid Heights, which also makes sense considering it's equally as far from Druid Hill Ave. One map says it's actually Madison Park. It's killing us trying to figure it out! Which one do you think/know it is?

WTF is up with MTA in the city? Is there anything we/I can to do to enact meaningful change?

It feels like every single day there is a new issue. Drivers not giving a shit about anyone or anything because our complaints go absolutely nowhere/end with the phone calls made to complain. Buses always running inexplicably late (or randomly super early) without any warning. Buses driving right past people at stops even if you're legitimately in the road trying to wave them down.

Is there anything that can be done besides calling transit info and complaining to a clearly overworked and underpaid worker who is just using corporate HR speak to make the issue go away but not having any plan to actually do anything about it. That much is obvious not only from their tone, their answers when asked "what happens after the complaint is filed" but mostly because nothing ever changes.

I unfortunately rely on the buses to get to the train to commute for work. Just this morning I checked google maps, the MTA website and the Transit app to make sure my bus was coming at it's normal range (can't even say time because it changes everyday now) and all three said it was. Until 5 minutes before it's supposed to be there, when all three suddenly update that it isn't coming for another 17 minutes. I'm walking to the stop (I live a mile away) and then 30 seconds after that (so 4 minutes before it originally said it was pulling up) it inexplicably pulls up. I have COPD and a broken spine so I can't exactly run but I went as fast as I could and when I get 30 feet from the bus, the driver shakes her head, closes the doors and drives off. I was actually already on the phone with MTA trying to figure out what the hell was going on so I immediately got the bus number and complained and again it's clear nothing will happen. Something like this happens seemingly every other day.

What can be done? If you have a pessimistic or nihilistic outlook on things, I gotcha, but please save your opinions to yourself.

I can't get PostParty to work, please help lol

Playing Fortnite on my Android/Galaxy s23+. Have Postparty downloaded/enabled and I'm logged in to my only account (which I've only ever played on mobile) however I never get any clip prompts whatsoever. I've been playing for 5 or so months and have had Postparty downloaded for at least two of those months. I've tried deleting and re-downloading both apps, and playing around with settings. I really want to use it and would be grateful for any help!

I know these posts are annoying but any idea when (if ever) they'll bring back the Gummi Double wrap? It's my most coveted item from the shop including skins/everything else :(

It was randomly brought back almost a whole year ago (I started playing this January) but the last time before that was 600 days ago. It combines my literal two favorite colors and I need it lol

Can someone explain Janos Slynt to me?

Let me start by saying I am aware that Westeros is FULL of lords and ladies that are posers, that got where they got due to their own last name/wealth despite their personal incompetence.

But with that said, his character makes no sense to me. Practically anytime we see him, he is all things wrong with a leader. He hides with the women and children during battle yet he was the literal commander of the City Watch. He was not some random knight that got where he was by accident, he had almost two thousand men under his command. He was part of the Small Council as well.

He certainly doesn't come from some major player house. His house was only founded as a favor from Joffrey. He was the lowborn son of a butcher. Same in the books. It can't be as simple as wealth as he has none. It can't be as simple as his family's name, as it's meaningless. It can't be that he's some valiant warrior, because he's very clearly a bumbling coward.

So wtf? Sorry, I hope I'm explaining what I'm asking well enough but am happy to clarify more if needed.

Obviously not garbage, hard to word what I mean. I'm talking about the type of burger that is probably $5, likely comes wrapped in crumpled up tin foil. The kind of burger where your only real options to customize are cheese or no. Probably tucked away in some corner store that doesn't even have their hours listed on Google. For me the best one like that I've ever had was at GORC park but that's in Odenton and seasonal.

Preferably not a smash burger but if it fits the criteria, hit me!! I'm a burger fiend I'll try them all.

As the title states, if you are a business owner or cop, or really just any person: please familiarize yourself with Ally's Law.

Ally's Law is the Restroom Access Act. It passed in Maryland 13 years ago, and has existed in some form since 2005. It exists in over 20 states. It grants customers with certain medical conditions access to employee only bathrooms when a public one is not available. Such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS & others.

It exists because Ally Bain, a 14 yr old with Crohn's disease from Illinois had a traumatic and embarrassing accident when she was denied access to the only bathroom in the vicinty, an employee's only restroom.

It is the law. It is not some debatable obscure city ordinance. It does not matter if it's a private business. As a business owner, you do not have a choice. And honestly, fuck anyone who would say no to someone who clearly has to go in the first place.

I'm making this PSA not to virtue signal or anything like that but because I, someone with severe Crohn's disease, was denied access to a bathroom in the city yesterday by a business I was literally a customer at. There happened to be BCPD also in the store which I thought would be a relief. I pulled them both aside, offered to pull out my documentation (which they refused to look at) and even pulled up Ally's Law on my phone. They said verbatim "I get that you have some Google search up on your phone but the way I've been trained I'm not going to tell these employees that they have to let you use the bathroom.. I'm just not going to do it." I asked for their supervisor which they also refused so I got their badge numbers and as soon as I handled having to literally run somewhere else to use the bathroom, I went to the nearest police station and spoke to their direct superior the sergeant on duty who told me that they were able to verify everything I said was true but before now had never even heard of that law or had anything like this happen. They assured me it would be brought up in rollcall, that the officers in question would be educated, and that this would not happen again but I don't have any faith in BCPD in general so I'm making a PSA. This was truly one of the most embarrassing things I've gone through while living here and unfortunately it is not the first time.

If you are a cop, it is your job to uphold the law. Even if you are unfamiliar with the law, it takes two seconds nowadays to do some research. If you are a business owner, please just do the right thing. I'm not saying let just anybody use your bathroom 24/7, that is your choice (even though restrooms should be public in general TBH). But if it's a situation like this one, the law dictates that you absolutely have to let the person use it. Or really.. I could just shit all over your floor if that would be preferable. Your choice.
