I know it's sad but I was excited to find out there's a website called "cut my" that allows you to upload custom designs for acrylic sheets and cuts them for you. I ended up using Claude to generate a DXF file for my pump housing. It's probably something I could've done myself to a far worse degree but thought I'd give them a go and pretty happy with the results.
Struggling to find any answers but my beetles keep ending up on their backs. First I thought it was them feigning but they often make the movements in the video like they're trying to back up. They'll sometimes manage it and then immediately pop their legs straight down and flip back up again like they don't have control of their legs. I've tried leaving them in the dark for a while to see if they're just feigning, looking for mites, etc. I honestly don't know what to do. The one in the video has been like this for a few days and now another has started similar behaviour
I'm worried they're going to dehydrate, starve or slowly die to something I can help prevent but also don't interfere too much and cause more harm

My last tank was awful and didn't really use the space and had several heating issues. The pump and heater was impossible to get to without taking things apart.

This one's coming together and got the waterfall/stream working, with heating being spot on straight away. Got a fan system built on the right to help with air circulation. Just the land and plants to do now!
