Compilation of TG fights where victory is achieved through strategy (torturing the powerscalers).

  1. He and Furuta escape to intercept Eto; mass multiplied by acceleration equals force.

  2. Copying the Black Reaper with the kakuja. Eto isn't used to fighting without her kakuja; literally the only time we see her use it is in a one-shot against Kanae. "No, but Furuta is stronger than..." Shh... Furuta Kakuja, and even so, allow me to doubt that he actually hurt the dragon Kaneki, or that the guy was just pretending to please him like with the swords.

  3. It is literally explained in the next chapter.

  4. attacking a weak point, besides the fact that almost the entire fight is basically Kaneki acknowledging being the weakest and trying to rip Jason's kagune out in different ways, finally attacking the weak point of his abdomen

  5. Do I need to explain this?

  6. Distraction, nothing more, nothing less. No, Arima didn't give up while his quinque was still functional.

  7. Shirazu wearing down and opening space for Urie to attack Noro

  8. Do I need to explain this?

The 4 horsemen of TG's reputation in the 2010s

  1. It's pretty obvious why the anime.

  2. The distortion of the "good version" giving a bad image to those who weren't in the fandom.

  3. The fandom itself.

  4. "They praise a violent work that is unnecessarily violent and can't even sustain that level on its own."

What do you think?

about Tatara…

Honestly, the only way I see him not ending up as a "potential man" would have been one or two flashback chapters before Takizawa appears, and end with something like, "Okay, this guy wants to die and isn't going to fight seriously."

Lately, I've been making a list of the problems the second half of Re had and how to solve them, and I don't see how Tatara could fit into the whole GOAT thing and the human-ghoul alliance. Any ideas?

How much would Juuzou's development in Re have changed if Eto had done that (spoilers rule) to Shinohara here?

Do you prefer Touka's design with dark blue or purple hair?

I know that canonically her hair is black… just like Rize's, and Hide's is brown, I'm referring to the illustrations

Kaneki's hair turning black and white

I don't know, it seems strange to me that there are still people who believe in the Marie Antoinette syndrome explanation for this case (I think Ishida applied that theory to Mutsuki's case, although I don't think it applies to some like Ken or Takizawa) because of how uncommon the syndrome is (I saw on some sites that it's not even real, although I still need to investigate further) and how many characters have it.

Since I first read TG straight through, it seemed to me that Kaneki's hair would've stayed black for longer (if not forever, since his natural color is black) if it weren't for the fight against Arima, having the opposite explanation (change suppressing to overusing) for the white hair, with the post-dragon version remaining with white hair because he is literally a living kagune.

Btw, I know some will say it's a mistranslation, and the Viz version says it's due to suppressors, meaning the method the CCG uses and not the RC reaction as such, so it has nothing to do with white hair, but the translation into my language (spanish) said suppression, so I looked up the Japanese and yes, RC細胞の抑制 =Suppression of RC cells. The error was in Viz's translation.

There's another preview and a video from back then with a picture of the Japanese preview of Root A, which was announced as having 24 episodes (that's why it was ruined even though Ishida's draft was good), which I'll link in the comments.

I know the final version wasn't his idea; he didn't want to ruin the anime, which is why I mentioned his original draft. But I find it at least curious that Ishida would have considered changing the story. Also, if you're going to make such claims, do you have sources for them?

You could think about an anime remake or a colored version of the manga; either option is fine. I'd just like to know what you all think.

I don't think the grayish tones like in the Re anime would be good, nor the bright tones like the original anime. I'd say something colorful but dark, something like the 86 anime.
