Young blonde boy with homeless crowd

Does anyone know who I’m referring to? Probably around 5-6 years old. I see him with his mother (?) and they often hang around drug users and I just worry about him. I just saw from my window someone smoke crack right next to him. Does anyone know anything about him?

Update: I reported to the police

Dad is orange and mom is calico (?). Kitty is polydactyl. What do you think?

Help me name this baby boy. Bringing him home in a few weeks

He’s very curious and has a funny personality. I originally had Mateo in mind but not sure. I like Spanish, Italian and Arabic names and food names are cute too. He’s gonna be big and has extra toes

Needle Exchange

Can someone who supports this initiative please explain how it is beneficial. I don’t understand why state funds are being used to give out clean needles. It doesn’t mean the needle will stay clean and there is no way to monitor it. It’s enabling people to use drugs, creates an unsafe environment in Burlington and I feel like no one is speaking up about this? The needles are a biohazard. Every single day I go outside there is someone shooting up. I don’t feel safe walking as a woman in broad daylight. The police don’t do anything. These people need to be directed to a mental health facility or be charged….and we are wasting tax dollars on these “harm reduction” programs that just make everything worse. If this is “harm reduction” what is the harm that is being reduced? Everyone involved is harming themselves/others. Anytime this discussion is engaged I hear the same things: there’s nothing that can be done, doing drugs in public isn’t harmful to others, we shouldn’t enforce laws on people for doing drugs, etc. Everyone has become complacent.
