Recently I became very frustrated when most of the top results for embroidery patterns on Pinterest turned out to be AI slop. Eventually I decided to plagiarize the plagiarism machine and self-pattern this design based on one of those images, fixing the nonsensical elements and adding some of my own ideas. I’m usually very critical of my own work, but this time I couldn’t help but love every imperfection because yes, it may have turned out a bit wonky and asymmetrical, but at least it was made by actual human hands.
