consultation scam??

Not sure what flair to tag. This is the second time in a row we’ve had a potential client reach out via email about florals for a wedding. We respond with some information & they ask to set up a zoom/video chat consultation. We’re happy to meet with clients virtually & we’ll always send a link to a zoom meeting. Once it’s time to meet, however, they email us again that they’re unable to join the meeting or that the link doesn’t work. Then, they send us a link to a virtual meeting that also doesn’t work for us. This time, our computer automatically blocked us when we tried to use their link since it had malware attached.

Has anyone else ever dealt with these kinds of scams? I don’t really understand what their purpose is or why they’re targeting florists. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

My brother will be in the city for a work trip next week. We’ll both be working during the day, but I think we’ll get to spend some evenings together. He’s gay & recently out, but he lives in a small suburb across the country that doesn’t have a lot of young &/or queer people. I thought it might be nice to check out some queer (friendly) places since those don’t really exist where he lives.

Gay bars could be a good option, but he’s on the spectrum & more introverted so I feel like a quieter, more relaxed environment would suit him best. Are there any bars that have more of a chill, get a drink & a chat kind of atmosphere rather than a high-energy, loud & crowded, club atmosphere?

I’m also open to suggestions of other types of places & activities, too - bonus points if they’re accessible via MARTA. Thanks :)
