I had septoplasty and turbinate reduction 10 days ago. This was the second time I had a turbinate reduction since the first time didn't help. Thankfully, I've been pain free and haven't had much bleeding (other than the first few hours after the surgery). The biggest issue is that I still can't breathe through my nose and mouth breathing sucks. I can breathe out through my nose at this point but not in, unless I pull either nostril to the side. Is this normal for folks after 10 days? I've sent my surgeon a message to ask him if I can use Breathe Right strips. Waiting to hear back.
