Birth control pill and HRT taken together?

I’ve been struggling with hormonal acne for over half my life now. Previous to my diagnosis I was taking the combined hormonal birth control pill and my skin was very clear. I came off it because my husband and I were planning to conceive in a few years and I wanted to track my periods. Long story short my period never came back and I was diagnosed with POI, and switched over to HRT. But I’m struggling badly with hormonal acne again. I know HBC and estrogen patches aren’t recommended for women w healthy ovaries, but what about for us? Does anyone combine birth control and estrogen patches?

My makeup looks so bad.

I’ve been using retinoids over 3 years now and I’m still consistently dealing with breakouts. And my makeup looks terrible. It’s like in some places it won’t stick? I’ve tried not using sunscreen before, primer, no primer, fingers, beauty blender, gentle physical exfoliation w cotton pad, salicylic wash the night before. you name it I’ve tried it.
Routines:
AM: rinse w water, purito centella toner, soonjung 2x barrier lotion, missha sunscreen spf 50
PM M-W-F: cleanse w cetaphil hydrating cream to foam cleanser, pat dry, vaseline around mouth, micro tret 0.04%, wait 30 mins, aestura atobarrier cream (I’ve used tret up to 6x a week, going slowly, but it always ruins my barrier. Even 4X a week messes me up.)
PM T-T-S-S: cleanse with cetaphil cleanser, purito toner, atobarrier cream, Vaseline all over
