Inside Out 2 characters as gourds

I made these over the weekend, which was quite the undertaking but also so much fun!

I think "Radio" by Sylvan Esso includes a subtle jab at TS

Several of these lines seem very TS-coded, especially when combined with this quote from lead singer Amelia Meath in a 2014 interview:

"I know who Taylor Swift wants me to think she is. She is a sweet, kind girl next door, trying the pop thing."

These lyrics particularly stood out:

"You're so surprised that they like you" (all those manufactured shock reactions at winning awards)

"You're so cute and so QUICK" (or... so Swift?)

"Singin' I've got the moves of a TV queen" (Shake It Off reference?)

"Folk girl hero in a magazine"

"Faking the truth in a new pop song"

Parallel Between the Last Chorus of Uncertain, TX and the Bridge of Anime Eyes

The way Kacey *goes off* on that stream of consciousness tangent in the last chorus of Uncertain, TX reminds me of the bridge of Anime Eyes, both in form and theme.

"Nobody ever makes up their dusty, old, love-bombing, snake-charmin', bullshittin' heartbreakin', godforsaken dumb-ass mind" could be where she landed after coming down from this: "Ridiculous hazy, crazy, rainbow, explosions of ecstasy / oh, my god, the memories / happy tears overflowing, lightning bolts so overwhelming / ugly crying, now I'm melting / turning into flowers blooming / angels singing, bells are ringing / baby, I'm a love tsunami, washing over both our bodies / Sailor Moon's got nothing on me."

A year ago, I fell in love with the most gentle, kind, and supportive partner after being with an emotionally abusive, narcissistic man who love-bombed the hell out of me and then burned me badly in our marriage, so I could be projecting here, but that Anime Eyes bridge sounds a lot more like how it felt to be love-bombed than falling in love for real, which was much more calm and steady than explosive and ecstatic, in my experience. I just know that my relationship (and my feelings about it over the course of several years) followed an eerily similar trajectory to the one hers seems to have taken.

I feel like there could be a connection between these two excerpts, whether it was intentional on her part or merely how it struck me as the listener (that's the beauty of music, after all). Anyone else?
