2026 Ram 1500 Rebel - CA - Dealer asking too much?

Hi everyone,

Currently looking at a new 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel in Southern California.

The truck has the following add-ons

- Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group
- Luxury Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats
- Panoramic sunroof
- 33 Gallon Tank
- Black Tubular Side Steps

Dealer has me OTD @ $63,713
Selling Price is roughly $67,000
Original MSRP was $73,XXX

What do y’all think? Good Price? Great Price? I can do better?

Has anyone bought a Rebel comparable to this one in SoCal? If so, what was your OTD?

If you bought in another state, feel free to chime in :)

Thank You

2026 Ram 1500 Rebel - CA

Hi everyone,

I have been in the market for few months now and have come across what I think is a good deal on a new 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel.

I’ve have been using calculator.net to visualize what my loan would look like - but I have a couple questions I can’t seem to fine the answers too.

Dealer is in Southern California

- MSRP $73,840
- Cash Incentives $18,241
- Gov Fee $1019.95
- Doc Fee $85 (capped at $85 in CA)
- Down Payment $5000

- Sales Tax is 10.50% in my area
- Loan Term is 72 months @ 5.82% (this is what my bank is offering, still need to check what I can get through the dealer)

When I throw all these numbers in on calculator.net (I am including the taxes and fees in the loan). I get a loan amount of $59,457.15 with a sale tax total of $7,753.20.

Are these numbers correct?

I feel as if the loan amount should be MSRP - Cash Incentives + Gov Doc + Doc Fee - Down Payment which would put me at $56,703.95, with Sales Tax based off that number.

Am I missing something here? Is my calculation wrong?

Do you guys think this is a good deal? I always hear about Mark Dodge and how they have the lowest prices around, but I would need to do a custom order as none of their current inventory fits what I want.

Thank you
