Why don’t Asian international students wash their hands?

I genuinely don't mean this in a racist way, I'm just curious. This is probably the most consistent thing I've noticed after being at uni for 6 years.

I always wash my hands with soap for about 30 seconds after using the bathroom, and in that time I always see Asian international students come out and just rinse their hands with water for a second, then leave.. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've actually seen one use soap, and it's only memorable because of how much it surprised me.

Is this just a difference in cultural norms? I've tried looking at surveys and studies from some of these countries, and it does seem like using soap after going to the bathroom might be less common.

Not trying to make a generalisation about everyone, I'm genuinely wondering if there's a cultural explanation for it.

Where are 20-somethings buying their clothes from?

I’m finishing up my law degree and looking for recommendations on where people buy their corporate/work clothes, as I honestly have no idea where to shop! So far, I’ve only bought some dress pants from Glassons.

I’m also open to recommendations for casual clothes and activewear.

For casual clothes, I currently only know of:

  • Uniqlo
  • Glassons
  • Cotton On
  • Perfect Stranger
  • Ally

For activewear, I mainly know of:

  • STAX
  • Elite Eleven
  • Muscle Republic
  • Also know of Lululemon & Echt but haven't bought from them (all usually via Depop)

Open to recommendations across the board, especially for corporate/workwear! Would love to know where everyone in their 20s is shopping

mommy tang’s meat reaction videos are getting really annoying

I don’t follow her, never have, don’t know anything about her but the amount of people sending me her reaction videos are really annoying. She pretends to cry while eating meat and pastries, making fun of veganism saying tofu never tasted like this, and making comments about how she always wanted to try these things.
She’s really just reiterating the false narrative that vegans are desperate to try steak, fried chicken and pastries, and that we hate the vegan foods we eat. I wish her post-vegan pick me stage would end
