Is there a good/ cheap place to get knives/blender blades sharpened? Does the sharpener guy still show up to local farmer's markets?
Edit: thanks for the leads, everyone. Ace Hardware doesn't do blender blades, but I'll call Carmel Cutlery and perhaps visit the knife guy at the farmer's market.

Every Thursday, we have Board Game Night at Mythic Games in Monterey. (561 Tyler St, Monterey. Right next to the Transit Station.)
Usually, we start at 6 PM, with some lighter games. Then, around 6:30, we'll split up into groups to play heavier games. Everyone usually brings some games, and we decide democratically what to play.
Here's our Meetup page. We usually get about 4 to 6 people (who don't sign up on Meetup). Last week, we had 10 people!
Every time I mention this in a different thread, we get a new person or two asking. So hopefully a dedicated post will provide some more visibility.
I am (technically) in charge of the event. Please ask any questions you have, and I'll answer.
