What is this weird kind of update ? This is the first time it's happening like this and it even maxed out my fans for this update. Wtf is this and why is there a warning to no unplug it ? ( I live in a place where power loss is very normal )
Is this good for my laptop ? Reducing the volatge makes game crash so it is good but it doesn't help with temps at all do it need to drop the frequency too ? The video i watched didn't drop it so i just kept it as how it was. I'm new to all this undervolting stuff so help me.
Laptop specs: Ryzen 7 5800h rtx 3060 80 watt.
I'm thinking of undervolting my laptop. Specs are ryzen 7 5800h with 3060 16gb ddr4 single channel ram. Since my laptop has a amd cpd the usual throttlestop isn't supported and other methods that i watched on YouTube weren't convincing to me. And the bios one kinda scares me so I haven't even thought about it. If anyone has done with somewhat similar specs please guide me or share the guid you followed. I need to get my temps down it's constantly high.
Everytime i unplug my headphone my laptop just freezes and i have to restart it. It's been like 3/4 days now that i have been facing this issue. Idk why it's happening and it's kinda scaring me. It has happened before too ( like when i opened the tiktok website on the chrome ) but the headphone one is a bit too frequent today alone it froze twice ( out of the 2 time i plugged it and removed so it's 100% guaranteed to happen every time for now ). Anyone has some knowledge about why it's happening ?
