GOD I'm gonna miss this bad bitch 😭

I just finished the pawn's revenge and I swear...no one does it like Jeoh. He's insane, sharp, clever, obsessive, sexy...absolute peak evil twink. He has immense trauma (nothing gets me like a tragic backstory) and he deals with it by being a CRAZY BITCH. I genuinely have no idea how I'm going to read anything after this.

I didn't think anyone was going to be able to replace my former MC Of All Time Lee Geom but Jeoh came in with a baseball bat and decimated all of my expectations. Where do I go from here?!

Recs welcome because I'm actually so sad this ride is over (/´△`\)

How long did you take off work after surgery?

I have release surgery in a few months and I can't seem to get a straight answer from my surgeon about how long he recommends I take off work to heal. He keeps saying "it just depends on what you do." I'm a preschool teacher and he responded that I could take off as long as I like and they'll happily fill out the paperwork for my PFML. Well, that's not really an answer, is it??

I do use my hands quite a lot/do some lifting, but nothing insane. I don't know if I should be looking to take off a few days, a couple weeks, a month...

If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it very much!

Baby simply WILL NOT crawl

My 11 month old (will be a year old in about a week!) has been in monthly PT for a gross motor delay since he was 6 months old and began weekly OT a couple of months ago.

Despite all of the best efforts of myself, his daycare teachers (they are fantastic and very attentive), and his PT/OT facilitators, he absolutely will not crawl. He has made a great deal of progress in other areas, but he is determined to be a butt-scooter.

For a while he was starting to army crawl when placed on his belly (I was extremely excited about that!) but he finally learned to move into a sitting position from his belly and now he won't stay there for anything in the world. The second we place him on his belly he swaps to his butt, and there doesn't seem to be anything we can do about it.

I can't seem to get any real advice beyond "keep trying" or "make it a game" from his PT/OT...does anyone here have any tips/success stories in regards to crawling?? I know how important crawling is for mobility & bilateral coordination, I am really really hoping he doesn't skip it entirely...

Thank you so much in advance!
