Getting milked hard for flying with a baby
Got told by a phone representative that you have to pay 150$ for the plane bassinet instead of it being "first come first served" like before.
Got told that I need to pay another 150$ to select the seat near it and if my partner also wanna be near it, it's another 150$ since those are the extra leg room seats.
They also mentioned that there’s no guarantee that the staff on board will have the bassinets with them.
I asked them if I could book the bassinet only and let my kid cry for 8 hours of flying (am not gon do that) next to a stranger and their silence was eloquent.
Just logging this here if someone is looking for info on flying with a baby.
Avoid Air Transat as other companies will accomodate your family for free and be actually helpful.
