I am a teacher, but I want to move to another industry. How and where do I start?

M25 licensed teacher with 2 years of classroom experience at gusto nang lumipat ng industry, pero hindi ko alam kung paano at saan sisimulan. My goal is an office position that aligns with my skills as a teacher, and top of the list are HR Training and Development and Employee Relations, and I haven't had much luck sa pag-aapply. I've also applied to open positions in municipal offices and job posts in CSC, but I don't get a lot of replies. I have the skills and the flexibility to learn what is necessary for the positions I'm applying for, but I can't show them that if I'm not even considered in the first place. Am I the problem, is it the system, or are teachers just not ideal employeers outside of the classroom? I can provide more details if necessary for the discussion.

Does ESL tutoring experience count?

Hello! I'm curious, has an ALT here had ESL tutoring experience before they applied? I was wondering if writing about my experience as a tutor in my SOP might be a positive or negative influence? I just finished writing my SOP and noticed a huge majority of it was about my experiences as a tutor, so yeah. Also, if it helps, I'm Filipino, and I was a RareJob tutor.
