He's very alert now that the meds have worn off, standing with no problems, not liking the confinement and the cone. Keeping him still will be a challenge

The right leg is gone, Toby is back home... now for recovery. Still groggy and we had a pee accident in the bed... I'll admit I'm feeling overwhelmed. Only one way to the other side is through it!

He removed the right front leg of his new stuffy , the same limb he's losing tomorrow. We think it's a good omen

We adopted Toby less than a year ago and were told that he had a previous leg injury on his right leg at the joint . It was never addressed with surgery. It's become more apparent and re-injured lately and now we are scheduled to have an amputation on Thursday.
