How is living in this part of Mexico?

I'd like to take the opportunity to stress that this area has no alternative names

Does your country have an ethnic/linguistic minority who are stereotyped to be snobbier and better off than the main ethnic groups?

What to gift to villager(s)?

Hi,

I chose and visited a random rural Sindhi village about couple years ago. People were shocked to see a foreigner there, but in spite of that I was received very well by the people. Besides warm hospitality, I was gifted a tupi and an ajrak and I am planning to return there soon and return the favor with a gift of my own, but I have no idea what that could be, maybe some basic school supplies, the villagers showed me the local school last time and it was in a pretty poor state. Maybe sweets from my own country for the children?

What do you think villagers in Sindh would appreciate? What kinds of gifts are appreciated in the sindhi culture? It has to be something small enough for me to easily bring it. I was thinking of a budget of like 200 bucks or something
