Looking for safe, private space for a few hours in August (willing to pay)

Hello everyone,

I live abroad, and I'm coming to Hyderabad for a month in August. I want to spend some private time (3-4 hours) with my girlfriend, who lives in Hyderabad. Can anyone suggest a safe, private place for this?

I'm willing to pay 10-20k.

Note: Please skip the moral/religious commentary. We're both aware of our own boundaries and choices — just looking for practical suggestions, not opinions.

Thanks.

Salam/Namastee – Ask me anything about admissions & scholarships for IBA sukkur, LUMS, IBA Karachi, & Habib University.

I’m currently a final year student at Sukkur IBA University, Over the past few years, I’ve been heavily involved in the admissions and scholarship. If you need preparation material or anything, Hmu.

Sign the Petition - Add Saraiki in Google Translate

Saraiki is spoken by millions of people across Pakistan, yet it is still missing from Google Translate while many smaller languages are already supported. Google Translate currently supports over 100 languages, including several regional languages from South Asia, but Saraiki remains absent.

Saraiki deserves digital recognition and accessibility. Please consider signing and sharing this petition:

https://www.change.org/p/google-add-saraiki-in-google-translate

Even if you're not a Saraiki speaker, supporting linguistic diversity helps preserve cultures and makes technology more accessible for everyone.

Karachi finally deserves a proper public transport app. Help us build it.

Hey Karachi!

We're a group of IBA students working on something we genuinely care about. A crowdsourced real-time public transport app for Karachi, built by the people for the people.

We all know how chaotic getting around this city can be, and we think the community deserves something that actually reflects how transport works on the ground. But to build that, we need to hear from you first.

We put together a short 3 minute survey and it would mean a lot if you could take a moment to fill it out.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdBQSX2Ne8_Is75WZkcY_mYRS1KtFkd0FD-uk48EdCx904XYA/viewform?usp=dialog

And if you have any suggestions or ideas, please drop them in the comments! The more people we hear from, the better this thing can be.

Have you ever noticed the different pronounciation from some people?

I'm not sure if this is commonly done in other parts of Sindh, but In my area, some of people replace the ڇ with ش, in many words like saying شا instead of ڇا or like مشي instead of مڇي,

I dont know why some people pronounce it like that, But have you ever seen people speaking Sindhi like that? Let me know

There should be a way for Sindhis to connect for rishtas ie for those who live in non-Sindhi majority areas or abroad…

Im a diaspora Karachi Sindhi and know so many people including myself who have had to kind of look out of our culture even though we would much rather marry within our culture. But meeting Sindhis if your family isnt super social or actively helping you is hard I feel so many people look and marry out. It’s all written by God at the end of the day but yeah feel like even in Karachi a lot of Sindhis marry out for this reason cause obvs you end up just dating people easily around you.

It is impossible to post in this sub honestly

Without getting brigaded by a group who have some sort of compex towards sindhis.

We will make a post about something on sindhi culture or something between sindhis and other ethnic groups and will mention that that one group keeps their trolling out of it.

Yet entire 95pc comments and extremely rude comments are from them in my post. Even telling them 100 times to not post nonsense and that it has nothing to do with them won't stop.

And the fact my post talked abt how bhutto had worked for far off regions and yet they are calling me names and elitist and stuff just shows the insensitivity towards the issues of every other group that exists in pakistan.

Bas hamra kaam ho jaey, baqi suffer karain.

This IS what Bhutto and Ayub khan had seen and then made policies, to not let pakistan get hijacked by one group and everyone else spiral into doom.

Seriously I had thought I will stop posting here after so much brigading done by them, but now I have dexided as much as they do we should post more and post on sindhi culture.

Need Sindhi Book Recommendations

Hello there!

I am an avid book reader but have only read books in the English language for pleasure. I have tried getting into reading books in Sindhi, but those books either are in really hard ancient Sindhi (which become impossible to decipher even with a Sindhi Lughat), or is too complicated, not available easily online or in book stores, or are just outright politically incorrect (misogynist, anti-black, anti-poor, etc).

I want to start with Shah jo Risalo, but havent found any comprehensible version, that I, a GenZ Sindhi, could read.

Fiction and non-fiction both work. Please suggest some interesting books in the Sindhi language, so that I could keep my Sindhi reading skills alive!

Thanks in advance, Sangat!
