i curated this mix some time ago but its pretty hard to find people who find these songs very interesting. actually it seems easier to find white people who would like this, even though to me it still sounds pretty desi. i speculated that it might be because of the lyrical content since i don’t speak punjabi but idk.

these arent “alt” in the popular sense of the word but i do feel like these songs at times have a pretty alternative feel to them. is it just me? the style of this composer is pretty unique and perhaps even groundbreaking within south asian music (in my opinion). but is it too alternative for alt people even? these things im curious about.
