By the way, I am a prop firm trader. I am bored by trading alone. Is there any trader here who knows trading or is learning it? CAUTION - not a complete beginner, I need someone who knows a little bit so we can trade together, stay motivated, and learn from each other.
I have no idea about bikaner and me and my family will be moving there bcuz my father got transferred. Please provide some details as to who I can contact or which locality I should choose. Renting apps aren't working much and I need it asap. Thank you
i would be really interested in listening to these... thank you
Hey everyone, I need some genuine advice because I’m currently stuck between Engineering College Bikaner (ECB) – Civil Engineering and JECRC Foundation, Jaipur – Civil Engineering.
I’m from around the Jaipur area and have already completed physical reporting at ECB. My fees/admission situation is also basically sorted, so this isn’t really about which one is cheaper.
My main concern is whether ECB is actually worth choosing over JECRC for me.
My long-term aim is mainly government jobs/competitive exams (JE/AE, GATE, RPSC/SSC/RRB-type exams, etc.), so I’m not particularly concerned about private placements. What matters more to me is having a decent college degree while also getting enough time and a good environment to prepare seriously.
I visited ECB and, honestly, coming from the Jaipur side, I felt a little unsure about the environment. It felt quite different from what I’m used to. I’m not trying to disrespect Bikaner or ECB—I’m just worried about whether I’ll be able to adjust there and stay motivated for four years.
So I want to ask people who actually know these colleges:
About ECB:
How is Civil Engineering at ECB specifically?
How are the Civil faculty and academics?
How strict is attendance?
Is the workload manageable enough to prepare for government exams?
Is there a good study environment/library?
Do many students prepare for GATE/JE/AE/RPSC/SSC/RRB etc.?
Are seniors helpful if someone wants to prepare for government exams?
How is hostel life and the overall student environment?
Is Bikaner difficult to adjust to if you’re coming from Jaipur?
How often do students realistically go home to Jaipur?
Is the college/campus life so dull that it starts affecting motivation?
And the BIG question:
If you were in my position — Civil Engineering, from Jaipur, government-job focused, and with both options already available — would you choose ECB Bikaner or JECRC Foundation? And WHY?
I’m not asking which college has better placements because that’s not my priority.
I want to know which college would give me the better overall 4-year experience + Civil academics + time/environment for government exam preparation.
If you have studied at either college, please give me the unfiltered answer, including the negatives. If you had the same choice again, what would you pick?
Also, are there any students from the Jaipur/JPR area joining ECB this year? Would be great to connect.
Thanks 🙏
Had a pretty good trip overall. ❤️
Loved: Rampuria Haveli, Junagarh Fort, Deshnok Temple, and the old-city architecture. Coffieo had a really nice ambience, and Chhotu Motu Joshi's samosas were actually great 😂. I also loved the paintings and handicrafts and ended up buying a painting as a memory.
Not so great: Cafe Xpress was a bad experience, and Gallops was nice but the food didn't impress me much. Street food overall wasn't really my thing either.
The biggest annoyance was getting overcharged by a cab driver for Deshnok.
Also, people stare A LOT I was constantly filming and taking photos, so I definitely got some looks.
I have a used hp Elitebook 840g3 anyone want to buy, 8 256, 15000, everything working, just minor scratches, with original 65w charger
Don’t you people feel ashamed that the roads, roundabouts, and other basic infrastructure in your city suddenly get repaired only when a VVIP is scheduled to visit?
For months, people have to deal with potholes, damaged roads, poor maintenance, and neglected public infrastructure. But the moment a VVIP visit is announced, everything magically gets cleaned, painted, repaired, and decorated.
So the question is simple: Are these roads being maintained for the people who live here, or only for the people who come to visit?
If the government can get everything fixed within a few days for a VVIP visit, why can’t the same urgency be shown for ordinary citizens throughout the year?
