As a long-time physical media enthusiast and Blu-ray collector, I’ve always believed that streaming platforms just don't do justice to the visual and auditory masterclass of peak Tamil cinema.The compressed audio and choked bitrates on OTT ruin what these films were meant to sound and look like.

Over the years, I’ve built a collection of original BD50 digital copies (untouched/pristine quality) with uncompressed video and multi-channel DTS-HD MA / Dolby TrueHD audio.

For me, it’s the IMAX at Broadway Cinemas, CBE. Honestly, it’s one of the better IMAX experiences I’ve had compared to some other IMAX screens.

And the best part? In other states, IMAX tickets can cost a fortune, but here it was around ₹450.
