War of Shera Review – A Generic Mass Film Pretending To Be Different

Other than cinematography, lighting and music it is a very genertic and forgettable mass action movie with predictable plot and bad pacing.

Parmish verma's acting was sometimes decent in emotional scenes and sometimes overly exaggerated and unbearably cringe in action and intense scenes,Manav vij was good as always, mahabir bhullar and yograj were ok, Female cast was did well in poorly written roles.

Writing was horrible, plot was predictable, Characters were very one dimensional with no depth,Shera was murderer and a drug addict presented as cool hero taking revenge for his brother's murder.Fight scenes were horrible with typical angry hero destroying everyone without any struggle or minor damage.Drugs were glorified and prevented as cool in many scenes.

You should only watch it if you don't care about writing and plot and only want a intense mass action film pretending to be different from average punjabi film.

I would rate it 4.5/10

Random movie review: Surkhi Bindi had the best written characters

I actually found about this movie through the song Karmawala from when YT channels were able to post "stories" and my entire family watched it when it first released, but back then I was 12 and thought it would be a girly movie, but now at 19 i couldnt have been more wrong.

The plot was very well built up;i thought it was a bit slow at the start with Rano just being a cranky girl who wanted to go to Canada cus she saw someone go in a limo when she was like 7 but then the way it progresses is beautiful. Rano actually starts to blossom and get a lot more character and her chemistry with Sukha starts to show.

Also Sukha is immensely well written. Its like a man written by a woman which is beautiful to see because, even in my favourite Punjabi movie series of Rab da Radio the power dynamic is shifted a lot more to the mens side but having it be a lot more natural and balanced between Sukha and Rano is really refreshing to see.

Have to also give credit to the side characters in Nisha Bano and her husband, which then helps give more depth and actually a background into Sukha's character and why he is actually so nice to Rano.

In terms of acting, everyone did well. Especially Gurnam Bhullar considering at this point he was new to Punjabi cinema. Super underrated actor. And Sargun Mehta is Sargun Mehta.

9.5/10 would watch again.

Rabb Da Radio 3 - MAJOR LET DOWN

Yesterday I watched Rabb Da Radio 3 and honestly it was such a major let down. The biggest reason? It didn’t feel like a true continuation of the franchise at all.

The first two parts had soul. They were deeply emotional, rooted in Punjabi culture, family values, relationships, and simple storytelling that actually touched the heart. Rabb Da Radio and Rabb Da Radio 2 felt connected — same emotional world, same characters, same warmth.

But Part 3 felt completely disconnected. No proper continuation of the story, no emotional closure, and most importantly, the absence of the original characters completely broke the attachment fans had with the franchise. That emotional bond built over two films was simply missing.

Instead of feeling like “Rabb Da Radio 3”, it felt like an entirely different movie carrying the franchise name just for branding. And that’s disappointing because audiences expected the same depth, nostalgia, and continuity that made the first two films special.

A franchise works because people connect with its characters and journey. Removing that core identity takes away what made it loved in the first place.

The first two films were memorable because they felt genuine.

Part 3 just didn’t carry that same magic.
