Dharmendra, Raj Babbar, Om Puri made appear3nce from time to time. Even Amrish Puri once ventured in Punjab. Dara Singh single handedly kept Punjabi cinema alive from 60s to early 90s. Prithviraj kapoor returned to Punjab in his laat years where kapoor family started.
Why dont Sunny Deol, Sonu Sood, Vicky Kaushal do some movies like Dharm paaji used to do?

I just thought of the movies/novels that can easily be made into Punjab. Which means goood stpries that dont require high budget or extraoridnary movie making skills.
Lights out is a horror movie where ghost can exist only in darkness. Absence of light is our most primeval fear dating back to millions of years. It also reduces budget bufget on special effect as u only need a silhoutte.
In Punjabi version,

Its a pretty good movie which can be easily transcend into Punjabi.
