Kankaan de ohle!!

this movie was actually totally senseless!! bc kya ghatiya film h.... you know when I saw all the celebrities watching that movie and then reacting to it they were crying like crazy and I heard people reviews outside cinema theatres they were like it is so good movie like it's so damn beautiful and all that shit.... but dude I seriously say it was such a stupid film like literally a very stupid film... okay it highlighted a few superstitions or believes that were practiced earlier but it somewhere justifies that love has no age or age doesn't matter in relationship.... like dudes he was literally above 30 or 40 something and she was just 8??! ... and the worst the movie ended with after 6 year cut scene in which she had a daughter dude!!!! like what the hell...actually the fact is that it would have been sensible if he had adopted her as his daughter and as a father he could have later married her off or kept a father daughter bond... but there was no sense in marrying a little eight year old and a 35 year old and calling it normal coz 'it used to happen earlier'.... I wonder how filmmakers just said it's normal cause it's made in old times beliefs.... and then how did they thought that it's normal to show a girl he had raised as a child turning into a young woman who starts loving an old man of her father's age romantically and then justifying it as "emotional bonding or attachment formed over years"... and the worst....him having children with her!!!

delulu or real?!!

Okay so I genuinely need outside opinions because I can't tell if this was a mutual crush that died before anything happened, or if I just created a whole Netflix series in my head.

For context, I'm a huge overthinker. I can literally take one eye contact and think about it for the next three business days. So yes, I'm aware that my own brain is not exactly the most reliable narrator here.

This happened around 2 years ago during coaching and lasted for several months. We never dated, were never friends, and barely even talked. That's why I'm confused.

It started with eye contact. At first I thought it was random, but after a while it felt like it was happening too often to be completely accidental. There were times when it genuinely felt like he somehow always knew when I was looking at him. Sometimes a teacher would call his name and I'd see him look at the teacher and then immediately look in my direction. Maybe coincidence, maybe not. That's literally the theme of this entire story.

There were also some weird moments with his friends.

One time he was standing in my way with a group of friends. I said "excuse me" and he moved aside so fast he practically jumped onto a bench. Then after I walked away I could hear them laughing and giggling. To this day I don't know if they were laughing about me, about him, or about something completely unrelated.

Another time I came out of a room and one of his friends said something like "aa gayi, aa gayi." He immediately replied with "kardi na wahi baat." Again, I have no idea whether that was actually about me or whether my brain just adopted it as evidence.

There was also a Teachers' Day event where he sang a song in front of everyone. Later when I happened to be nearby, his friends started telling him to sing it again. Maybe they were teasing him because of me. Maybe they were teasing him because he sang well. I honestly don't know.

One thing that still bothers me is that at one point he shifted his seat closer to where I used to sit. And because I was an idiot with an ego and social anxiety, I randomly switched seats that day. After that he never sat near me again. That memory still annoys me because if it actually meant something then I completely fumbled it.

Looking back, I also think I gave the worst mixed signals imaginable. I liked him but I never actually did anything. Sometimes I'd avoid looking at him. Sometimes I'd act uninterested. Sometimes I'd intentionally avoid situations where I could have talked to him. Basically I behaved exactly opposite to someone who liked a person.

Then coaching ended.

And here's the part that completely ruins every theory I have.

I didn't confess during coaching.

I confessed later through text.

And his response was basically that he didn't know me, didn't know my name, and didn't remember me.

That's what messes with my head.

Because if all those moments actually meant something, how does someone go from that to "I don't know you"?

But at the same time, if he truly never noticed me at all, then what were all those weird moments? Why do some of them still feel so specific?

So be honest.

Does this sound like there was mutual interest at some point and it just died because neither of us did anything?

Or does this sound like a textbook case of limerence where I took a bunch of ambiguous moments and turned them into a much bigger story than they actually were?
