Slim pickings lately, but I can always use more storage options. FWIW, I'm pretty sure they have a couple of the dimensions swapped—in addition to the AI rendering proportions issues—and it's 31"H, 34"W, 18"D. But I'm prepared for it to dominate my garage if I'm wrong about the AI. 🙂

Review rejected, community guidelines—I asked Vine why, next day my review is approved and posted

Many of us have had reviews rejected, and for some of them we've seen the dreaded "Amazon is not accepting review on this project from this account", with the link to community guidelines. I accepted it for a day, then yesterday I sent an email to Vine support, respectfully asking if they were able to tell me why it was rejected—along with the entire text of my review (I always keep a record of my reviews in a spreadsheet).

Today, checking my "Reviewed" queue, I noticed that the review showed "Approved". Not only that, but the "See review" button now worked as well. And a little later today, the product page was updated with my review.

Two takeaways: Yes, it seems a review can get rejected for no likely reason. And maybe contacting Vine support can let someone realize it had been erroneously rejected.

(This was for a protein drink powder. Nothing in my review could remotely be construed as making medical claims. To be clear, I have not received an email response from Amazon.)

Mixed feelings on this one... 😂

But I wrestled with large boxes for yesterday's recycling pickup and this would have been handy. Reluctant to add another gizmo to the house in order to chop up the boxes from other gizmos, but it makes sense. Also, would have liked to have had this for cutting fabric when I was building bass traps (sound treatment) a while back, maybe I'll find other uses...

Excited about this way more than an adult has a right to be!

It's mainly about the fact it's a Huracan, and the timing...

No, I don't have one, but I have a friend who does. After 24 years with my last car, I bought a new car six months ago, after my clutch went. It's not a Lambo or anything close to that stature, but it is an American car of similar general styling, performance, and mid-engine design—anyone can figure that out pretty easily. And it's a vivid green metallic. A friend (more of a friend of a friend at the time) saw it and pulled up a photo of his vivid green metallic Huracan—we had to set up a drive with our green cars, and we've become closer friends, and it helps that my gf and his wife get along great. We're going to their place on the 4th.

Just the timing, but sometimes Vine sends us a little bit of joy via budget items. It showed up today. I'll take it along on the 4th to show off my Huracan. If he talks me out of it, I might insist he paint it that crazy green...

It's been a while since a premium item, so keep the faith, folks...

Also, I get the Prime Day ETV discount, because price history shows it going for $729.99. Didn't need the set, but afraid to pass up a premium item, the algorithm might stop offering them. I already have the 8-10-12 pans from Deluxe and love them, this adds four more and their lids. My girlfriend will get the previous set (still new condition, and I only used the 12" routinely).

Not showing off, my RFY has been horrendously bad lately and for much of the past six months (Sunday closes my evaluation period, I got in the quota but it took a lot of minor items and supplements). But over the past two years my kitchen has benefitting from Vine heavily; it wouldn't been anywhere near as well equipped, so thanks Vine!

Anyone else have disappointing or funny RFY for Father's Day?

Father of two, grandfather of six...don't think I can use either of these, but I'll keep hoping 😉

The most blatant example of "algorithm" so far, for me...supplements and laser levelers...

I'm a couple of weeks short two years on Vine. This year has been relatively lean, I've ordered a disproportionate number of supplements. 88 items ordered, only 5 over $100, 39 have been $0 ETV supplements. One item was a 3-axis laser leveler. Didn't need it—though maybe someday—but I was intrigued with such a tool when I had a new driveway put in, and I do most of my home improvements.

Last night my RFY had more items than I've seen in a very long time, maybe the most ever. Nearly all were supplements, but also three laser levelers. All three levelers were the same brand as the one I already have, just smaller two-axis versions.

Not complaining, just noting this batch was clearly aimed at what the algorithm thinks I'm interested in, and perhaps what I've given good reviews. (I also gave a good review to a Reef-brand t-shirt a while back (tragically fell out of my bag at the gym and it's already gone), and the day before I was offered a Reef flip-flops. I think we've all noticed this—like a pair of gym short, you get offered more types of gym shorts form that seller.)

PS—People might say this is a reason to not order supplements. I wouldn't have made the quota without supplements, and the only other choice would have been to order dozens of low-priced crap I don't need, and then I might be offered more crap I don't need. Plus, it's kept me in much needed items like creatine. 😃

YPOO returns!

After an absolutely abysmal RFY for weeks now, I had to jump on this. YPOO (oh yes!) serving me up some more—I got a decent budget exercise bike from them a while back. It wasn't the only return vendor in my RFY—a mini two-axis laser leveler (I declined) from the same company that gave me a 3-axis level a while back.

Not showing off, just relieved to get something not completely useless (I hope, based on their bike), with only about a month left to pick up 8 items or so to cover my evaluation quota. I've see a few others with nice RFY items today, hope it's improving for people and holds up.

Really?? 8 months? Guess I can't count on this to meet my quota...

Do other people get this kind of delivery date?
