Highest quality cases and bracelets?

It seems like Ali X has the budget cases, and your next tier up is Namoki or other similar brands, but what’s the best of the best?

Where can I source the absolute highest quality Datejust style case? Or Submariner style?

I feel like you either pay Ali X $30 for low quality, or you pay Lucius Altier $300 for a generic case

Tiffany Blue Dial

Latest build!

Case: Feiyashi Official Store on Ali

Strap: see above

Movement: Genuine TMI NH35 (secondhandmods)

Hands: Polished Silver Datejust Style set (secondhandmods)

Unfortunately, the bracelet clasp only clasps from the secondary safety clasp, I cannot get the main clasp to latch.

Due to this defect, I am looking to sell at cost+shipping, which is $200 shipped to CONUS

Previous cycle: Applied 25-26 to 29 MD schools → 0 II

Stats:

  • cGPA / sGPA: 3.38 / 3.38 (upward trend- 3.7 last 40 credits)
  • MCAT: 516
  • CASPer: 1st quartile (last cycle) — retaking
  • PREview: 3 (last cycle) — retaking

Hours (at time of application):

  • Clinical (paid): ~2,000
  • Clinical (volunteer): ~600
  • Nonclinical volunteering: ~700 (EMT instructor, club leadership)
  • Research: ~900
  • Shadowing: ~90 across 3 specialties

What I changed during my gap year:

  • Continued accumulating paid clinical and volunteer hours
  • Added a new nonclinical volunteer activity — youth mentorship/leadership (~100 hrs)
  • Completely rewrote all application writing
  • Retaking CASPer and PREview
  • Going to get 1-2 new LORs from volunteer activities where I had lots of hours

My question:

Honestly, I didn't overhaul my application, just added more hours and experiences. My school list last cycle was a little top-heavy but not unreasonable, and I still got no love. Given that not much has fundamentally changed, I don't think it makes sense to reapply to the MD programs and expect different results, especially without retaking classes.

Would it be a reasonable strategy to apply Early Decision to my state MD school and then build out the rest of my list primarily with DO programs? Looking for input from anyone who's been in a similar spot or has advice on reapplicant strategy. Thanks in advance.
