Model 54, 1933 30-06 and rear sight.

I picked this rifle up from a buddy a few years ago who had no use for it and didn’t want it. Been in his family for a long time.

I know these are nice rifles but I’m wondering what the value is and what the rear sight is. I’ve people online saying some of these rear sights have value as well.

I’m not getting rid of it, it’s in my collection of rarely gets shot but I really like old stuff.

Thanks y’all.

Training my minions to be wolverines. Son’s picture was taken after he was done, I’m not standing that far toward with him shooting.

I have a 2009 Rancher 420 and now it doesn’t want to move.

Got it from an equipment auction, replaced the angle sensor and shift motor because it wouldn’t shift out of 4X4. Fixed that issue. Road it for 5 or so hours testing it to make sure it ran fine. No slipping in the trans but it would jerk sometimes. Now it will engage in gear but will not move. It’s clicking, engaging and lurching forward and back. I started having this issue a few days ago, even in manual mode it has the issue. Almost like a manual clutch that’s smoked (might have answered my own question but I’m not a transmission scientist). Anyone have advice?
