Weird question I know. Has anyone used their crockpot in the garage during a heat wave? Where I live, is having historic heat waves. I don't have AC, mever needed it till this year. Anyway,I don't want to damage the crockpot by using it in a hot garage.

My husband and I are taking a trip to Portland Labor Day 4 day weekend. I have scoured reddit looking for answers, so I am asking the people who know the city best.... Where would you stay and why? We love the city and we are considering retiring here.
