You don't need more discipline.

You don't need more discipline. You need a different Identity.

What I mean by that: To really do things well and become successful at them, you always have to do them over and over again.

And discipline? Yes, you can summon discipline every day, again and again.

But is it still discipline if you enjoy doing it? Not really, right? Because discipline means doing something even though you don't feel like doing it.

That also requires willpower. And we only have a moderate amount of that. So you want to waste your valuable willpower, which you also need at work, just so you can go for a 5K run in the morning?

And do that every day reluctantly.. with discipline?

The outcome: Yes, you'll get fitter. But you hate every morning. Some days more, some days less.

There’s a better way. Without discipline.

With an identity shift.

You simply become the person who enjoys exercising in the morning. Then you only need to overcome yourself on some days to get out the door.

That’s also willpower, but only a little bit.

And not daily either, but only when you actually don't feel like doing it. That's what willpower is for. That's discipline, too. Using willpower exactly when it's necessary.

Willpower = like a muscle that becomes exhausted after exertion. But that can also be trained. And gets stronger over time.

Discipline = is just the OUTCOME. BECAUSE you are doing something you don't want to do right now, you are disciplined. You don't do it because you are disciplined; you are disciplined because you do it.

That's not just another way of looking at things... it actually helps you.

Because it means you don't have to torture yourself every day.

You don't have to fight.

You can enjoy it. Not every day, but most days.

How do you become that person?

The first few times, you need willpower, but the more often you get up in the morning and go running, the less and less you'll need. It gets easier over time.

But only if you allow it to. If your mind says, “Come on, discipline, push through” → you'll stay in that war mode.

For some people, that turns into an addiction.

But constantly fighting a war is exhausting and makes you careless. Other areas of your life will then be neglected.

Become a morning athlete. Become an executor in business. Become an avid reader. Become a language artist. Become an amazing family person.

Become all the people you want to become.

No, it’s not easy.

But in the long term, it’s massively worth it.

Or do you think an athlete is incredibly disciplined because they train every day?

You might think so. But if you look closer → they couldn't even sit still while on vacation. Why? Because they became that person.

So you only need discipline in the beginning. But know that it won't last. You don't have to force yourself everyday, at some point you will become that person and then discipline is no longer needed and it (whatever it is for you) will get much easier.

Did I find someone Dead or Sleeping?

This guy is just laying next to the Road. I guess I am not the first one stumbled upon him. Maybe someone knows more? It looks like he is just sleeping next to the Road, although it is strange because nothing is near and it is in broad Daylight with Cars passing.

I guess he just passed out from too much drinking..

Its in Rumania:

First ever Quest Cape getting close but..

Short:

Is Vorkath worth doing for a few mil to lvl construction with these stats?

Explanation:

My first Quest Cape is in reach, I am now left with DT2, SOTE and of course Blood moon rises. (Yes the "hard ones" up ahead but I fear no death hehe - DS2 cost me like 500k and I am sure DT2 will be more). Also the sailing quests - I started when sailing wasn´t out yet, came back a few months ago and skipped it for now.

The problem is now I have to go from 50-70 Construction which apperantly costs a lot of Gold.

I have only a few mil in the Bank and I was hoping to spend that Gold for Prayer (I am not 70 yet) and Chinning/Barraging (No Blowpipe or other better Weapons yet).

As I don´t have the Wildie Hard Diary for Spindel yet and I cba the Revenant Caves - and got Pk'ed in my first trip to Zombie Pirates + also Venenatis - now I am hoping to get some Gold while killing Vorkath. Bosses like Moons - where I got like 25m from - I don´t enjoy that much.

Also I kinda need their gear in the future so selling it hurts, even If I sold a few pieces (and bought them back later lmao) :>

Is that a good strat or should I rather do Smithing from 70-75, do Wildie Hard Diary and sit at Spindel? Or kill something else - like Tormented Demons or Demonic Gorillas? I did nearly 300 KC at Gorillas after MM2 for Slayer, but that felt rather slow without Proper Weapons and Stats.

Herb Runs I use for lvling Herblore for SOte, I make only small profit with Super Restores because I use half of them myself.

Or should I lvl Construction via the Mahogany Homes Minigame? What would you do?
