Heat geek was going to be my fourth quote after a local, BG and Aira.

I paid the deposit for the heat survey and heard nothing from the engineer until I chased him.

I was given an appointment about a week and a half later for a window of an hour. The day came and the engineer didn't show up. I called him but he said that he was too busy so asked me to cancel and to get a refund instead.

So after wasting two weeks I'm going to have to ask for a refund now.

YMMV of course but I would recommend against using them. All the other companies that gave me a quote were responsive and professional.

My dog is slightly over 20kg, around 20.8kg so he is classified as a large dog when it comes to tablets. I always found it weird (and a bit concerning) that tablets up to 20kg are half the dose e.g. 500mg Vs 1000mg my dog gets. Like those 800g make all the difference.

I tried asking my vet and he was like the dose is the dose. So maybe I'm just overthinking it.

Does anyone have more details about how it works? Like does it matter?

Ps this is not a cost thing, normally the difference is tiny like a pound or two.
