Street of dreams is fine. Mostly bland, but a catchy chorus and the intro/outro is quite stunning and they certainly should’ve used it more in the song. Regardless, listening back to Resurrection Song and The Tears of Things, it’s hard not to feel disappointed. I don’t think the broader music world even realizes they released two of their best songs in literal decades. It’s a shame that Street of Dreams doesn’t really compare, and will be used to market what’s next for the band. At least we were here for those gems the last few months.
