How can I make a rib to connect rim to hub?

Hi, I would like to make a wheel with spokes that connect the rim to the inner hub. I would like each spoke to essentially be a rib that connects the two blue lines and properly merge into both inner and outer cylindrical contours. I don't know if it's possible to do this using the rib tool? I can do it with some awkward combination of extrudes but it doesn't feel right. Any help is appreciated.

Tips for Walk of Shame

I'm trying to prepare myself for my first solo session - have done a couple lessons and now I just need to practice a bunch. Neither of the lessons I took involved much beach walking, and I have to admit this is the part that scares me the most - getting back upwind. Do you guys have any general tips / advice / dos / dont's for the WoS?

The most beginner friendly beach near me is pretty popular, so there will be crowds. I just want to make sure I don't get myself into a sh**show situation!

Some thoughts:
- Should I aim for a walking length limit?
- Best way to carry the gear? Mine is a 110L board with 75cm mast and 1800 cm^2 wing.
- Wing downwind from board - I got that.
- Don't go in offshore winds - I got that.
- Should I deflate the wing and keep a pump at re-entry point?
- Any other general advice?
