Goodwill Houston employee rant
I won’t give away too many details on my specific store but it’s one of the “nice” ones that gets a lot of traction. I started recently and I had an issue with one of my coworkers because she snitched on me cause I was helping a customer out and telling them about other local thrifts I hit up and their deals. She then cut me off and told me I shouldn’t be telling people about anywhere else other than goodwill and I snapped back by telling her I’m not a goodwill fanatic and she replied asking why I was working at goodwill then and I told her it’s a job and it pays me. Surprise surprise management told me never to say anything about other stores cause a “customer told them I told them to shop somewhere else” and now that coworker is always complaining about me. Should I just swing on her orrr??? 😭😭😭
